Bosch improves quality of life worldwide with products and services that are innovative and spark enthusiasm. In short, Bosch creates technology that is “Invented for life.”
The corporate research (CR) sector works on technological breakthroughs in all business fields,  leading to products that are even more efficient, even more comfortable, safer and even more environment-friendly. In the field of  hybrid and electric vehicle powertrain systems, Bosch as a system provider knows technical demands and specifications for the various components and their dependencies within the system as a whole.

Research on “integrated material technique” within CR puts the focus on methods for predevelopment / simulation and experimental validation of complex mechanical / thermal / corrosive loaded components, on materials testing, and on component testing by complex loading conditions focused on fatigue.

In OBELICS, we use these competences to analyze and improve battery systems, esp. with material and component models under mechanical loading.
